Hopefully that’s a hypothetical buddy right? That’s enough AR’s to equip an infantry platoon. Not that it’s anybody’s business in my opinion.
Nope real one and he told me about 6 months ago he finished his last build. So if he kept them all he has 28 rifles or pistols however he configured them.

In my estimation, most of the time you are questioned about ownership of a firearm, it is because the authorities have the equipment but don't know who it belongs to and are trying to trace that ownership. In this case, they have both the firearm AND the current owner, so why would they go through the bother of tracing ownership through the FFL (really starts back at the manufacture or distributer) as that is a lot of work.

I agree with the advice above, but I wouldn't expect a visit.

My buddy bought 28 lowers last year and wsa slowly putting them together for himself and as gifts to family and friends. Would he have been suspected of racketeering just because he had so many lowers and parts?

So 28 rifles or pistols is evil now days? or just evil black rifles?
Yes... If someone has a 22 revolver, a BB gun, 500 rounds of 22 ammo and an M1 bayonet, when it hit the newspapers it is referred to as a large arsenal.

Unfortunately for the socialists having an arsenal that makes the local police envious is a constitutional right.

Just spoke with Relford, and he said if I get a knock, I haven't commited a crime if I didn't know or suspect he was a prohibited person (which I didn't).
Just out of curiosity, did you leave him a voicemail about 09 20 this morning?

    Not in Switzerland County.

So we should live in fear of prison everyday of our lives because we have evil firearms. Not going to happen at my home.
i agree, but i also don't put needless info on a public forum or use social media for a reason. People don't do themselves any favors most of the time.

If we turn into a totalitarian police state does it really matter? By that time my buddy who built all those plus the ones he had already will be dead and gone. He has throat cancer, and lung cancer I really don't think he gives two ***** about it. Then all them firearms will be in the wind once his family sells them off or keeps them. What are they going to do come waterboard me for his name and address?

Yep. Unless you knew upfront he was a prohibited person you've done nothing wrong. In Indiana, you must know he is prohibited to be in trouble in this situation. The way the law is written, if you dont know him from Adam and dont know he is prohibited, You are good.

    Two scenarios:
Your wife's coworker says he wants to buy your gun. But your wife told you about how he mentioned a stint in prison for a felony 10 years ago. Since you know through your wife he is a felon, that would be a bad sale.

A felon, contacts you and says I saw it online and want to buy it. You dont know him and dont know he is a felon because he didnt mention it. Legally you are OK.
