I can assure you they see it. After becoming a mod I created a test account. (sanctioned. All the mods know which it is) its so I could do things like ban it, log in as it so I could see what you guys see in the interface since mod status integrates our tools seamlessly into the gui. (not just a separate mod control panel. )

I want to say that its in the final window. Probably in the final approval link that is emailed to us to prove the email address is valid. I recall you register, the system emails you a link, and when you open that link you are presented with the rules and you have to tick a box saying you have read them before you can finalize your account.

And anybody who replies with a number more than zero is an instant permaban, the user, their IP, AND their ISP. If they reply with a negative number than they get that number in a postive form automatically added to their post count.

It was years before I made my first post. Actually I signed up but forgot and then came back years later to sign up again and was greeted with a message “that email is already in use”! But I came back and stayed.
