I completely agree on "The Haunting of Hill House." Soooooo good.

The family was away this weekend and I watched all 10 episodes over two days in three sittings. It is really well written and acted. I loved the structure of the episodes and how they revealed slightly more with each character's point of view.

It's suspenseful and unnerving but not overtly scary. Really, really well done. I highly recommend it.

It was good. Not too scary. But not anywhere near GOT or Deadwood.

I made it about twenty seconds into the first episode. I must not have been in the right mood.

Based on your review I will probably like it.

The show starts with the kid shooting off his dad's testicles after walking in on his parents in flagrante delicto. That pretty much sets the tone for the entire episode.

I like Archer and Family Guy, but Paradise P.D. was over the top. It seems like the entire show was a statement, "Look what we can say and show because we're on Netflix and not TV!" The orgy of scene of dogs (several in leather and/or with "accessories"), was what hammered the final nail.
