Interesting survey. I'm surprised to see .38s so far down on the list. I thought alloy snubbies were more popular than they are apparently.

    9 mm here, btw.

    230gr Hydrashoks (45acp) most days

9mm or 380 if I need deep cover

    32acp for backup.

the .357 is a glove compartment gun
the 44 is a safe queen

I am with you, I would have thought the airweight .38s would be more popular.

Me I carry a .45 1911 most of the time, if dress does not allow for that its my .38 snub. I can conceal that airweight in a pair of athletic shorts and nothing else!

Then there are the days where I have both.

Glock 30 most of the time, normally loaded with Winchester 185 gr silvertips, but since i carry two spare mags, I always keep one loaded with federal 185 gr hydroshock +p's. Lately I've found myself carrying my Taurus 3in barrell judge loaded with 3 rds of 000 buckshot, and 2 410 slugs. Occasionally I'll get out the CZ-52 for carry, or the Taurus 608 357 mag.

"Other" had to be the choice....

Primarily it is the P-64 in 9x18Makarov

If that doesn't fit, then it is the Beretta Tomcat in .32ACP

and for those times when ya just gotta go small, I carry a Beretta 950 in .25ACP.

9mm. My first pistol I bought was a 9mm because of ammo $ and availability, also because that is what the Army uses. The second was a 38 revolver for my wife cause, well that is what she wanted. Now I want to get something bigger (a 45) and also a smaller 9mm for those times when you really want to be armed but clothing does not allow a larger sidearm. Just not sure which to get first.

look into either a 9mm or 40 S&W kahr, they hide really well....my parents never knew until I told them.
