My first handgun was a Smith & Wesson Model 14 38sp revolver that I inherited.

The first handgun that I bought with my own money was a used Jennings J-22 that I bought frrom a friend.

Colt Woodsman .22 auto loader. Sold it and my Winchester Model 12 shotgun to get college tuition funds. Wish I hadn't had to sell these wonderful guns, but the cash kept me going to school.

4" SS! Oh yeah, rabbit slayer!
Really, .38 wadcutters with the 4" barrel was just the best for hunting.

Ruger Mark I Standard, purchased day I turned 21. Still have it. Still shoots like it was new. And I am guessing it has at least 50,000 rounds through it. Maybe more.
