Winchester model 12?

Years ago I was looking for a Model 12 at the 1500. The asking price for a run of the mill worn Model 12 was $400 to $500. I was looking at a collectors table and he had a new looking Model 12 riot shotgun. When asked how much he said $350 and he cautioned me that the condition was very good but he believed it might be re-blued. My billfold almost caught on fire getting the money out.

Excellent find! The one I shot Saturday will likely be set in a closet sadly. I told him if he decided he didn't want it to let me know though! And yes Expat I have seen them over the past several years. Much $$ must be handed over for a old time 22 fun stick.

mine is a 16 ga from 1953, Its unfortunate the choke is IC, if it was mod I would shoot it for trap
