Obviously, these folks have never attempted to get close to a major event that the President is at. There will be a security perimeter starting miles away. They will be given their area in a location that the secret services deems appropriate, and that is where they will stay. I'm sure there will be a lot of media there as well making it look like the crowds are larger and closer.

Perhaps at the height of all the shouting, pushing, and screaming hilly will stand up and call for calm. Her bobby kennedy moment forever enshrined in liberal mythology. The clinton machine couldn't ask for better, cheaper, or more well planned PR.

We`ve put up for the past eight years with that diseased, traitorous POS stinking up our White House, and weakening America. Making us disrespected all across the globe, poisoning our culture and society with all the liberal agenda and his brand of "tolerance", all the while assaulting the integrity of those of us who work hard, sacrifice, and actually stand for something. I bet the protesters will get through whatever length of time this next guy is in the Oval Office just fine.

He did all of that in the name of the American people, just like the next guy gets to do.

They have the consent of the governed, right? ...minus a handful of harmless protesters.

Where else could their power come from?

Obama also had the luxury of not needing to defend himself from a slanderous media. A lot of what he did never got questioned by the mainstream press. I feel O was able to get away with quite a bit.

Funny how people wanted the federal gov to have all this power, then when a guy they don't like gets elected, they B***h and complain the the government has too much power. SMH.

I don't want the federal gov to have any power over the people, no matter who gets elected to wield it over us. It's been a long time since it served the several states, if ever it did.

I also don't pretend that the media/press is anything but a central government appendage with a primary purpose of spreading deception.

    :yesway: on both your points.

Still must have been nice screwing everything up without the "government watchdog" questioning what you're doing.

I was at the first bush w inauguration. There were protesters there too. Some streakers and what not. Other than that it was pretty boring. Different times i guess.
