Your asking for a single favorite, sorry but I'll throw in a top 5 or so
Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, The Dirty Dozen, The Guns of Navarone
Lord of the Rings (all of them)
Cool Hand Luke, Bullet
Anything with Jack Nicholson and don't forget Clint Eastwood...
I am with you John. There are a lot of put together snipers floating out there. Yes, for that money they better be matching without the forced numbers. I have been keeping an eye out and the true snipers are getting harder to find and the $$$ are on the rise. I am in N_K_1984's mind set though...
Gander in FW at 6 p.m. had CCI standard velocity round nose 500 packs at $49. Popped into Wrigleys just down the road and at 6:30 p.m. there was Remington 500 round packs of Thunderbolts for $36.99, 5 left after I picked up my two. They also had some Winchester 9mm but I didn't get the price.
Miller, you never cease to amaze me with camera shots and variations . I think spending a day with chatting with you would be a well revisited history lesson . Thanks for the pics:thumbsup:
Now hold on a minute. It's not Finnish, there are no SA marks, it's not Polish, nor Romanian. So just how is it that you could even consider this gun .
Otherwise I agree there are some very interesting qualities that make it Mosin like. Pretty interesting find :yesway:
