      Well it's been quite a while since I had posted. I don't print as much as I used to, mostly just out of necessity to supply my drone habit. I usually print with mostly TPU now-a-days. Hope all is well and it's nice to see your still around 1911LY.

      I like to watch it and enjoy it. Tonight's magnitude is supposed to be-2.9. That's pretty bright. I use an app on my android that's called "ISS Detector" Free on the Goode Play Store. It gives a lot of information and also sends notifications.

      Can't really chime in as I've only owned one printer. I will say that I learned a lot about the printer when I built mine. When choosing a printer I think something you have to consider is how much you want to mess with it. There are some out there that are pretty much ready to go out of the box...

      I'm glad to see some activity in this thread. Just finished printing some light switch locks https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:69806 as I have some switches I like to keep on all the time due to some home automation I have set up.

      Been kinda quiet in here lately. I haven't been doing much myself. I am in the process of printing the updated version of my cooling fan shroud. Figured what the heck. Hope all are dong well.

      That's the exact problem I had with the titanium. It would cool off so fast the extrusion would all but stop if I ran the cooling fan. Now stainless work great in my machine and I really don't notice a difference in my prints vs brass. The only difference I notice is that I can run the stainless...

      On another note I tried a titanium nozzle today because, well, I found them for an awesome price and I thought what the heck. I'm glad I only bought one because when the cooling fan kicked on it would pull the heat out of the titanium nozzle faster than the speed of light. Needless to say I went...
