MARSOC Stays with Colt 1911. SEMPER FI!

The cost more than better pistols.... I have had two 1911's that I have liked. My Nighthawk, and my RI (the RI has extensive work done). I've had Kimbers, Gold Cups, 70's, 80's... but those are the only two...

Need suggestions for a .45 ACP handgun

The best thing that you can do is find a Cabella's or a similar store (that has a vast selection), and hold each gun.

      Thinking about getting a .45

I can see you are obviously a pro, and the trainers at Magpul, AWT, TWS and other places are wrong... I'm sorry to have argued with such a master. I'm glad that you schooled me on how bad one of the most reliable guns right out of the box is, how USP is a waste of money... I'm glad you saved me...

      Thinking about getting a .45

It seems like common sense to buy a reliable gun that fits good and already points naturally. Ya, most people can pick up any gun and learn to shoot it properly over time, but why not have one more advantage on your side already? That's like saying "why buy a car that runs properly, when you can...

      10mm lovers rejoice!!!!!!!

I don't have to rechamber my gun to shoot the super. The Rowland however looks like a fun cartridge... Fast accurate follow up shots though........ The super is already pushing the envelope.

Need suggestions for a .45 ACP handgun

Your third? Nice! If I were someone else, I might find that a little odd... I have 4 full size USP's though... I was actually thinking of trading my full size Hk45 for a Compact, seeing if there was someone out there that wanted to make that trade. Not sure yet though...

Why not just shoot the 45 super?

Need suggestions for a .45 ACP handgun

That is a sweet deal on that Hk45C! Friggen amazing actually..... You need to convert your Hk to the light LEM. You will like it a hell of a lot better with a four pound trigger pull. Duron, if you are going to be using this gun for carry, I would suggest you read the following that I stated...

      Thinking about getting a .45

I think mainly when it comes to self defense guns, you need a gun that will fit comfortably in your hand, otherwise, you are going to absolutely hate shooting the gun, and your accuracy will go down the ****ter. What you should look for in any cary or self defense gun, is a gun that points right...

Need suggestions for a .45 ACP handgun

You can pick up nice used Hk's for a decent price. H&K USP Compact .45 With Adjustable Sights 45 : Semi Auto Pistols at GunBroker.com That one might go up to $620. A brand new 1911 of that price won't hold a tune to the USP compact. The compact is smaller, more accurate, and lighter when fully...
