I didn't see it in any of the previous posts, so I would recommend the following for getting a decent starting price for a new vehicle.
Go to www.cars.com and search on your vehicle. Make the search area larger (100 miles). You can't specify features or a level, just the make / model...
It's been tough to find anything that pays decent interest. Instead of CD's, I've been using an online Money Market / Savings account, Discover Bank. Currently its paying 0.95%, which is not great. It's tied to my checking account, so I can easily transfer money back and forth. Another...
A couple of days ago I watched a car screech into my neighbor's driveway (seriously, screeching rubber). A guy jumps out and throws a package against the garage door. The guy jumps back into his car, and races off. I believe it was an Amazon delivery. It's amazing how package delivery has...
This is an interesting thread. I believe that you are seeing a response to two aspects of the sale, monetary value and emotional attachment.
Guns aren't cheap. I have only sold three firearms in my lifetime (none here). In all three instances I was keenly aware of the money I had...
Way back, when I was dating the woman I was to ultimately marry, she outshot me at the range. Her father had two daughters, and that didn't stop him from teaching them how to shoot, fish, camp, etc. (Neither one ever expressed an interest in actual hunting though). Her understanding of guns...

I like PSS, and I like Bob. They've treated me right every time I've been there. It can get smoke filled at times. I put up with it. There's always a couple of different conversations going on. It's a friendly place, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Two thumbs up for PSS :)
So, what you are saying is that you ran into several individuals who can stay up for days blasting and blowing up everything they see on a TV screen, but freak when they see a real gun :):
We installed Invisible Fence brand last year for our lab. They trained the dog by using white flags around the perimeter to teach him where the line is.
One adjustment was needed (to crank up the shock), but our lab will not cross the fence, no matter what (dogs, cats, food, joggers, etc)...
Is he dumpster diving in the kitchen for pizza leftovers? I found that my dog can open the lid and root around without disturbing the garbage bin.
Does he get to go outside or maybe somewhere else in the house on Friday's that he doesn't get access to on weekdays. Another dog I had liked...
