      my collection of 50 knives started when i was 7 years old. my dad gave me a sweet older knife, the same knife his dad gave him at the age of 7. one day ill have the priveledge of handing the knife to my son.

      just done a lil research and found the place that sells 20 mosins for 3k.. not too bad of a deal.. $210 for 880 rnds...

      im kinda in the same boat... And thats what im tryin to do as we speak...i think everyone in my family will end up with a firearm and a crate of mosins and a couple thousand rounds or so of ammo is still kinda cheap.. right now we have lil .22 and some 9mm mostly shotgun supplies... good luck...

      Strategy on SHTF weapon selection...

      i like to have a .22, .223, 12 guage, .308, and 9mm.... but prolly wouldnt hurt to have some .45 layin around... but when the shtf im grabbing the AR and a 9mm for sidearm. the mrs will have the shotgun and who knows what else.

      just read a small article about nissan coming out with a cummins 5.0L V8 diesel in the titan... sounds like it might be good. how bout caterpillar do something like that with who? oh and the cummins will have 500's ft lbs of torque and 300 ish horsepower....

      almost anything on discovery or history channel..... i have kept MILITIA RISING on the dvr and watch it after a few weeks to see if i can get any other ideas....
