      Canik 55 Stingray Woes

Thanks jinks, the spring seems to be fine but the slide release is ambidextrous, the release lever on the right side cams the spring somewhat. If the lever is pushed up it definitely makes it easier for the pin to slide out. Pushing the pin in requires a good deal of pressure to move the...

      Canik 55 Stingray Woes

Well, the worst thing about buying a clone seems to have happened - no service. I bought a Canik 55 Stingray Compact (CZ P-01 clone). It is (was) a great shooter. Then the takedown pin started working its way out while firing. I waited two weeks too long before pursuing a warranty...

      Canik Parts

I have a Stingray that is a very nice shooting pistol. I've had it about 9 months and recently something bad has begun to happen. The slide release/takedown lever has started to back out while firing. This results in the slide locking up until the pin can get pushed back into place. So my...

      Kimber Ultra Carry II

My wife loves her Ultra CDP II. Compact but with a large enough grip to be comfortable. Recoil is very manageable and she is very accurate with it. So far with around 1000 rounds through it we've had no FTF/FTEs with FMJ or JHP, factory new or remans. Have not tried steel case.

      FNX 45 or the H&K 45?

I found a good deal on the FNX and then added a threaded barrel. I like it very much but always wanted an HK. Last year I found a good deal on the HK45T. I like it very much as well. But at the end of the day if I had to keep one it would be the FNX. I am a little more accurate with the FNX...

      Steyr M1-A

I picked up a used M9 years ago and it is one of my favorite 9mm pistols. I like the sights - to me it naturally draws your attention to the front sight. It is a smooth shooting and accurate pistol.

      e-file wait update

When the e-file site went down completely a couple weeks ago I inquired about my form 1, filed 2/18/14 - wanted to make sure it was successfully in the system. I got a response this week saying my form is pending and they are currently processing form 1's from the end of November. I guess...

No - this was the first item acquired.

Looking for dealer with osprey45 in stock doing E-FORMS

Yep - everything said makes perfect sense you are using form 4 to TRANSFER that item to the trust (not there yet so it shouldn't be on schedule A yet). But then we ARE dealing with the government! All I know is my forms were returned with a request to "correct" schedule A. I did and things...

Looking for dealer with osprey45 in stock doing E-FORMS

Interesting. My Form 4 was kicked back for correction when the serial number of the suppressor I was buying was not on the schedule A.

      Osprey 45 or Octane 45?

I have been looking at the Osprey and Octane as well. I've decided Octane because I'd like to do a SBR in .300 BLK and will probably use it there the most. I want to be able to use it on .45 and 9mm as well. I agree that for these applications take apart is not really necessary but I like...
