Communists always take territory and kill millions of people, sometimes in that pursuit and sometimes to stop dissent afterwards. They don't care how many of their own people are killed while achieving their political goals. Their biggest goal is worldwide domination, both politically and economically. China's purchasing of U.S. lands can have nothing in it that is good for America. Some lands are very near U.S. military bases. China is on the track, speeding towards the checkered flag while America still is in the pits.

Taking territory and killing people seems to be human nature, not just Communism.

Yeah, but the commies love to kill innocent civilians that they may deem a threat or dissidents. Intellectuals are some of the first groups to suffer. Of course, the commie leaders don't have to answer to the masses.
