I really need to stop looking at these 1911 posts!! If I don't my savings account is going to shrink really fast. That is an AWESOME looking 1911 OP. Congrats!!

    I'm confused, what's a saving account? :):

Congrats! I absolutely love the Night Watchman SR1911s. I have the original SR1911 and am thrilled with the purchase. I haven't bought my 2nd 1911 yet, but I have a feeling it will be coming sooner rather than later. I'm hoping for a Dan Wesson, but not sure if I can swallow that price tag just yet.

I've been thoroughly impressed with the trigger, but I don't have much to compare it to. I've compared it directly with a RO, and S&W E series that was sent to S&W for a trigger job. The RO was a range rental gun, and it seemed pretty damn dirty, so that could have been the reason why I wasn't THAT impressed by it (I still want one). The SR1911 had a better trigger than both, surprisingly. Not sure if I got lucky, as I haven't done anything to it other than shoot the hell out of it.

I had ChurchMouse take a look at mine and he measured the trigger pull. If I remember correctly, it was either just under 5lbs, or just over (standard SR1911). Ironically, out of 3 1911's that I now own, the "low end" SR1911 had the best trigger out of the box. Hard to beat for the price!

Porn. Porn. Porn. im ashamed i looked and stared at all 5 pages...looking for another.

I agree! OP, more pics! :D

Nice buy! I've always wanted an SR1911, but not in stainless. These Talo editions are killing me... I'm off to scour the house for spare change. Think the kids will notice their piggy banks are empty???

If ya wanna look at stuff that'll empty your bank account, take a gander at some of the STI guns.......I like 'em enough that I have a pair of their Elektra's, so that if one is down for cleaning, etc, I've got the spare available. My wife even has one of theirs......in pink!<I think she figured I'd keep my booger-hooks off it that way>:nono:
