I was on my way home from work and checking email (at a stop light). It is pretty damn impressive, should have a street price similar to the current commander, assuming demand doesn't drive it up.

I'm a pretty big Ruger fan, and they have released some impressive things lately.

I think that slide would be sent to Allen though. For some reason, brushed stainless on a gun doesn't do it for me.

I'll be eagerly looking for reviews on that. Looks sweet. I've been very impressed with my SR1911 full size.

Ok, I'm LOVING this thing! Put 100 rounds through it today and it's definitely my most accurate handgun. 10 yards and I'm keeping everything within the size of a fist without REALLY taking my time. 1911 triggers rule!
