Been to both atterbury and flat creek. Flat creek is nice but u have to know your **** and not let yourself get ripped off. They are nice people but they won't tell you ammo is 25$ a box before you shoot a couple boxes. Atterbury was nice until they started charging an arm and a leg. Flat creek will rent full auto which is cool and the owner Walt is a cool older guy who has had some interesting experiences in life.

Huntington has a very neat and clean range. With shooting stations a 7,15,25,50 and 100 yards paper targets only. And a very nice skeet shooting setup.

Thanks for the list. Does anyone have an opinion about the Eagle Creek range?

I would like to hear comments about Eagle Creek as well. I live in Avon and am looking for a good range to go to. I have always shot at friends' private ranges in the past and have never even been to a formal range.

The most promising candidates from what I have researched seem to be either Eagle Creek or Danville Conservation Club. Any comments or suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

FYI all I would be shooting is 9mm, .380 pistol and .22 LR pistol and rifle.

Went to Atterbury the other day. Nice range, friendly staff. The only very minor issue I had was that we couldnt practice drawing and firing. Which makes sense due to the safety issue. The gentleman behind the counter did say that if we (my neighbor and I) wanted to practice to let him know what day and time. He would close the range to the public and let us and our shift partners practice tactical draws, reloads, etc.

It was a little expensive however. $5 per day fee, $7 per lane per hour for each person. So if you shoot for one hour = $12, two hours would be $19. All in all a great experience. Hope this helps

This is a very good and safe place to shoot. Supervised by DNR, at first they seem a bit strict but it is for safety. It's clean and cheap at $4.00. The state put over $4mil into it and it turned our pretty nice. I shoot there regularly and hope to see some more INGO hats there next time.

H&H Firearms in Fort Wayne I believe is the biggest gunshop (that I know of) in this city. They also have a public indoor shooting range which you need to get a membership to use. I think it was 15 dollars to get membership status.
