    Man, I want some for that price. When I got my LTCH I asked what the local PD carries. Told me Glock 19s, but that they had some 1911s in stock that could be carried if an officer wished. Assuming those 1911s are the "PISTOL,CALIBER .45,AUTOMATIC"... damn, $60 value? All the values on guns seem low.

    So my county decided the police needed 41 bayonets and over 100 ARs

    Hamilton county also bought a bunch of bayonets and entrenching tools. Because, you know, you might have to dig a fox hole and charge an enemy position with bayonets fixed in Noblesville, Carmel or Fishers.

    Well, if this is accurate, I feel a little better about Hendricks co. Just a few .45's, a bunch of rifles, and a shot gun. I don't have any problem with them buying what's shown here. They didn't buy anything questionable, IMHO.

    You mean LEOs charged with keeping the peace shouldn't need to mount a bayonet charge to issue a ticket for littering?

    So my county has 27 pages of procured items, which also includes;
    - 14 trucks
    - an ultrasound unit
    - 30 SAW Gunner sets
    - 63 Rifleman sets

    I see that Clark got a bunch of Rifles, 5.56 and 45 pistols.

    Gotta keep the Indiana side of the Big 4 pedestrian bridge safe from the scummy Kentuckians.

    They should have got enough Hesco barriers to build a FOB at the end of the bridge to turn back the ilk from Craptucky.

    Wow , talk about corruption . Marion county has 15 pages of gear cops don't need . I don't ever want to hear about what cops in this county need again .

    Like what? There's quite a bit of former military gear sitting around which doesn't get used. As is typically the case, the people who are deciding what to obtain aren't necessarily (or usually) the people who might be using it.

    I just looked through the list. Considering my position on the agency there seems to be a lot of equipment on there that I would or should know about but have never laid eyes on. Since it's organized by County on that website I assume it covers the other agencies in Marion Co as well. Some of the stuff I recognize but a lot of the weapons related stuff I've not seen. They don't always do a great of with their descriptions either so it's possible I'm not making some connections.

    Why does Morgan county need an MRV and a grenade launcher?
