Morels - 2016

Went out again today in Putnam county, found one grey. It had been up a while . Anybody finding any fresh ones that just came up since we warmed up?

Went out in Zionsville area for an hour today...ZIPPO...NADA....NOTHING.....but I am SOOOOOO excited that this weekend will get things moving and Monday I will take the trailer with me so I can carry them all.

Did a quick look yesterday by Trafalgar. Didn't find anything but that doesn't mean they aren't there.

Just got back found 23 grays and blacks at my honey hole still early need some warm nights and they will be everywhere... Found most of them on west banks, must be do to warmer afternoons ? Mostly always find them on the east banks but only found a few but they were higher on the banks, prob. do to the cold mornings ... We could use some more rain too. Deer tracks everywhere but no sheds were found. Its double duty shed hunt while shrooming.

I found about 2lbs of blacks in my early honey hole spot. A good rain would really pop them.

My daughter found 3 small greys in our yard this morning.

None found here. Dug up some daffodils I found and picked up a shed from my little spike buck I watch on the way back with the bucket of flowers.

mom, A buddy of mine found about 6 small black on the south side of Walkerton today

Wife and I found about 30 in our spot last night but they had just came up. Gonna leave them to grow cause they were only about the size of a marble.
