I have always wondered the same thing. I thought they were all compresses in their little spongy wrinkles then just shot up and expanded?

Took a friend and his daughter out to hunt for some morels in southern brown county. Searched several spots all with absolutely zero luck. Found nothing.

found 28 in the last 2 days......will be havin' roomy's with baby back ribs on the grill this evening.....

My wife and I found some Friday then a few more this evening. As with most people we have a problem with trespassers on a property we hunt.

Didn't go, my Jeep is dead and the witch went to BSU to lug a bunch of the kids stuff home.

Found a new spot today covered with some of the biggest yellow morels I've ever found. The woods were FULL of them, but MOST were already brown and dried up. Im going back tomorrow with a camera. I know where I'm going first thing NEXT YEAR.

Did you mean to say CCM? Certified Collector of Morels license. I heard that they are going away.
