The wife and I have been out and haven't seen any in our favorite "hunting" places. Hoping the rains this week and slight warmup will bring them out

My best friend has found over 400 this year. He has a remote spot he goes to and the area has been incredible this year. He found 80 yesterday. His dad can't believe the bags of them he walks in with.

A buddy of mine just found some in northern rush county this morning. He said they are pretty decent size.

Just had an elderly neighbor down for venison backstrap covered in morels. He couldn't believe it that we would share like that. I ate myself sick.

Well....if you are in Hamilton County it is time to get out there!

They started popping lazy about three weeks ago but the last rains have them going.

Found about thirty last night in a small patch. NEXT weekend should be AMAZING with the warmer temps.

Found about 100 in the last two days, only problem is the majority are what I call "woodsies", few big yellows. It takes 50 woodsies to make a mess.

Walked my property in Michigan this weekend. Not a darn one.

Done in koscisuko county. Found 3 old and soggy yellows this past Saturday. It was not a good year for my property. Only 40 total over 5 weekends of looking. I usually find 150 -300. A few spots of mine that produce every year did not produce 1 shroom this season.

There's been a guy selling morels on Emerson between Southport and Edgewood. He was there three weeks in a row. Not sure if that was everyday or just the days I happened by.

the Muscoda Morel festival up here is a big deal --Last year 6.6# won the biggest morel --Several thousand pound of morals are eaten. Biggest American Legion fundraiser in the area.
