Wow the 23 RTF2G is rare?
Easiest shooting 40 I've ever shot, probably because the texture is so aggressive it takes a blood sample just picking it up.
Only downside is, I can't carry it because within a few minutes of walking around it shreds my shirts.
One of the few pistols I have I never bothered taking a picture of lol. Thanks for the info!

I traded a couple of XDs for what I believed to be a stock Gen 3 G19 and cash, and in getting it home it looks to be a G19 RTF2 with Gills, and in mint condition. What kind of value does it have and should I shoot it?

    Pics here: G19 RTF2 - Imgur

I'm gonna choot it and enjoy it, figure I can get rid of it easily enough later on if I want to.

No reason to not shoot it. If there is any collector value, it's not that much above any new Glock 19. You'll get more out of it by shooting it like crazy.

    Wait, what? These are rare?

When I bought my first M17 these were the only Glocks in town.

    Feeling old now.

My own original G17 is known as the ugliest Glock in existence. It has, perhaps, the most aesthetically unappealing grip reduction ever done and it's the only Glock of which I am aware that had actual rusting/pitting on the slide. However, if you don't look at it, it feels good and the grip is small enough that even rhino's raccoon fingers can reach the trigger. It's functional.

And I delight in the fact that somewhere a non-shooting collector is crying because I have destroyed something precious to them.
