Because, just maybe, we do not need assistance in identifying the person(s) in the image and don't want to give them a public heads-up that we're onto them.
Thanks,
the sooner he becomes a non-free man the better as this was very close to my home.

This took place on my beat, in a neighborhood where we have zero problems. It pisses me off.

It is hard to be forgiving in instances like this because we are just men. Jesus is God.
If you are going to indict the entirety of Christianity based upon the perceived shortcomings of any one person, you misunderstand the nature of Christianity and humanity.
To want to see justice done when a crime is committed is not anti-Christian. Christ preached forgiveness, and for an individual, it is the best way forward, but God does not even afford forgiveness unless a person asks for it.
Further, God's word indicates that it is a government's proper place to carry out justice, including justice that may include violence:
Even given that, I personally do not believe that the death penalty has been justly or accurately applied in many cases, so I do not support it at this time.
And the human reaction to want to see swift, sure and painful retribution? Understandable in our humanity, but not the right attitude. Let me know when all of your attitudes are 100% correct all the time and I'll do likewise. The struggle to do and think what is right persists this entire life and I choose not to condemn a person who is fighting the fight for not winning every battle of self.
The funny thing about Christianity is: it's comprised entirely of humans, who are just as fallible and sinful as every other human. The only difference is: we recognize our fallibility, and rely on Jesus Christ to save us from ourselves. It doesn't mean that we become perfect, sinless, or infallible - or that we even believe ourselves to be. So, before you get too comfortable up there on your moral high horse, realize that you're holding someone to a moral standard to which you don't even hold yourself.
As for condemning Christianity based on the actions of a few, isn't that what many folks on here are doing in other threads regarding Islam?

I don't know, unless the killing was somehow motivated by religion which I doubt. Why does this have to devolve into a religious argument?
Because LP1 got butt hurt that one member wanted justice for the murder of this innocent woman and the person who posted it had an avatar of men praying. LP1 needs to get a life - Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Right to Bear Arms. All go hand in hand and protect the other one. Guess LP1 doesn't like all 3?Why does this have to devolve into a religious argument?

It doesn't and will not.
In thread notice.
Take it as you will.
Keep it civil and on topic.
Choose not to and infractions/time outs will ensue.
Carry on.
I thought religious discussion was okay now?
It is, but if it's off-topic thats a whole different ball of snaakes
Hehehehehe...you said "ball".It is, but if it's off-topic thats a whole different ball of snaakes
Kinda goes against what VUPDblue and Doug Carter said last week.
I will breath easier knowing this scum is locked up although I would rather see her husband and father both given guns and be allowed to shoot the piece of crap. Makes me boiling mad.
