Looks like they are attempting to improve revenue at the snack stand. I'm sure they'll disallow water, candy, etc., that you bring with you. And since I WEAR my sidearm, this inspection is not very useful.

I am wondering... who actually carries a gun in a bag?

More feel-good "look! I did something!"

I can TOTALLY see handing them a fanny-pack to root through, while someone has an AR slung on their back.

This is my thought also, they need to sell more concessions.

There's one in Bedford. I will not submit to a search just to watch an over priced movie. Period. Local teens working minimum wage with zero security experience are not going to search me or my date. Not gonna happen.

Guess I'll have to stop wearing this shirt to the movies.

Yea a bag search makes no sense. I smuggle in my candy in the cargo pockets of my shorts. If you carry our gun in a bag....then you don't really have a bag......

Blurb at the end of one of the articles mentioned metal detectors at a Los Angeles location, so apparently the there is more to it than just bag searches, at least in some cases. How many men carry bags anyway? Not many.

Even if you did carry in a bag, do you think they'd know what to look for if it were a concealed carry bag? For instance, concealed carry purses have hidden pockets to store the gun. Without a metal detector this is completely worthless for security.

As the beta/delta/gamma male population increases... I could see that number rising. Boys carrying murses, wearing their jeggings and flip-flops.

Saw a grown-ass man walking around Wal-Mart last week in pajama pants. Wanted to slap the **** out of him.
