Seems like choosing my first 1911 is like picking a major in college.
At first you're very positive about what you want, then the more you explore your mind becomes filled with too many choices and you change majors 3-4 times.
This must be how you guys end up with so many versions of the same gun.

I'm getting is narrowed down though... Smith E-Series or Sig Nightmare... maybe

All you have to do is buy one of the two. You're going to want more afterwards anyway, so you'll end up with the one you didn't buy eventually :):

1 of those is mine. 4 are CM's (were CM's, he's changed his line-up since then) and 1 is SkullDaddy's (I think he still has it, but I'm not sure)

I still have the GSG .22 for kids and ladies to train on. It is well worth keeping.
The RO with the holes drilled in the dust cover has Morphed into this

Churchmouse definitely has some nice guns.
You guys are not making this easy!

Is it wrong to say that I like the looks of the Sig Nightmare because it reminds me of a Glock?? :@ya:

No...no...no...you're making this more difficult than it is. JUST PICK ONE! You're not limited to only one (as demonstrated)...then start saving again and pick the next one you see that you like--then rinse and repeat.

He said he was looking at a S&W and a SA Gunsite edition in your shop. So how much drool did you have to wipe off your counters when he left? :):
That's why we keep a roll of paper towels right there. ;)
I felt kinda bad for him... he got stuck in the middle of a monkeybirthday sitcheeation.
But not *too* bad. He's a dirty Glock lurver, after all.

Did someone say 1911 shoot? I'd love to join you guys if that happens. I have a couple that have not seen range time in a little while and sure could use exercised.

Sounds like he enjoyed himself regardless and you had to clean up all the drool, so I guess you're even :)

That would be a good time. We should set something up for the Spring when it's nicer...
