That's why we keep a roll of paper towels right there. ;)
I felt kinda bad for him... he got stuck in the middle of a monkeybirthday sitcheeation.
But not *too* bad. He's a dirty Glock lurver, after all.

Thanks for all the advise and your perspective on those guns!
I hope you had a great birthday!

Tomlinsons has a nice selection of 1911's

Sounds like he enjoyed himself regardless and you had to clean up all the drool, so I guess you're even :)

That would be a good time. We should set something up for the Spring when it's nicer...

Spring......really......boy you got to man the heck up if you start sporting 1911's.........

We have two up here in Elkhart Co. I can't imagine there are none down there.

    Best one burned down recently.
    There are a few others.
Not sure how they would hold up to 15 to 20 1911 sporting ingo folks rolling in the door.

New place in Avon might be cool.

Parabellum is pretty cool. Wonder if we could get a time where we get the whole place for an hour or two? I'm sure we could set something up. 14 lanes, so we should be able to fit plenty of INGOers.

The range in Avon is very nice. Not quite as nice as Beech Grove, but a close second.
If we get there when they open at 9am, there's won't be a line and that shop is friendly to INGO.
They might even block us out an hour or two for a private party if we set it up in advance.

What can I say? I work in climate controlled comfort :D

Now, if someone knows of a nice indoor range that we can gather at, I'm game. Otherwise I'd prefer my outdoor shooting to be done when it's 50 degrees or higher out.

The only thing that kills outdoor shooting for me is picking brass out of snow. I'm fine with cold, but really hate having to pry up brass that froze to the ground when they hit ice or snow. Not to say I won't shoot in that stuff, I just won't like it. Sometimes shooting in snow is the only way to enjoy a rifle in it's element. Each year, my son's and I do a Mosin shoot down at Atterbury when the snow is as deep as possible. There's nothing like shooting a Finnish capture Mosin, prone in snow.
