    I stopped by Staples this afternoon to get a Jotter, and the one next to it also caught my eye.

    I didn't say it was better-- its just very similar. I think the two will make an excellent comparison review.

    I've got some initial thoughts already. I'll use them both this next week and then report back.

    I've carried an F-701 on MANY flights. The mechanical pencil has a better clip and a metal clicker, so you can buy one and swap out the parts. If you think guns and knives are bad, you should see the guys who really get into pens.

    I turn pens as a hobby. I made one awhile back that used a 50 cal. shell as the body. It's one heck of a solid pen. Would make a great tactical pen. LOL. If anyone wants to see it, I'll post a pic later tonight.
