The pharmaceutical industry is a for-profit venture and they need to keep creating new vaccines or their money train will disappear.

You want the CDC to become the American NHS? Medicines to be created by the government? How do you think that will come out?

Oh, good luck suing the federal government when something goes wrong.

The industry creates new vaccines/drugs because disease just doesn't sit there and take it, it shifts. The industry shifts to new drugs to counter it. Tank v. anti-tank.

Very unfortunate for those children and their families..

Unfortuantely for our society celebrities such as Ms. McCarthy think that their status give them the ability to advocate for their causes, no matter if they are justified or not. Most couldn't care less about the actual issue at hand, they just like the attention they get when they are up on stage or on the air flapping their jaws. :twocents:

Perhaps they are just like regular people and have ideas they promote and are held to a different standard BECAUSE they are celebrities.

Jenny McCarthy didn't kill any children, it was the children's parents responsibility to care for them to the best of their ability.

Yeah, those evil drug companies are purposefully poisoning our kids. There is no way that in a free market they would want to provide a good product and keep kids alive and well so that people will buy their next product, and then have kids that they can sell the vaccines to those children.

Google her name and go to images :D, much better photos, the kind you won't want to wipe from your memory. Is he as intelligent as a door knob? maybe. Is she crazy hot? Yes.

Somehow the physical hot factor, always seems to take a nosedive when the assclown index is figured into the equation.

Similarly, Sharon Stone was a huge disappointment for me, while Demi Moore only became more attractive.

I don't want the government involved in our lives any more than they are now. I want honest reporting of vaccine effectiveness, and a government that makes them optional. Right now we are learning that the pharmaceutical companies are lying to the government about how good their vaccines really are.

Most existing vaccines don't have the effectiveness we're being lead to believe they do, nor do they have the longevity either.

To the best of my knowledge, they are. Vaccines are only compulsory for daycare and school attendance.

Corporations have been lying upon the safety and performance of their products within every industry, and for nearly every product. Automobiles, tobacco, et al......are good examples of such.

The pics of her in Playboy are worth a look as well.

Ok, she's hot . . . unbelievably, here's the bank accounts, the house and my cars hot. Off the charts hot . . . but there's nothing but a howling wilderness between her ears.

It's been awhile since I've seen her playboy pictures (in passing as I read the articles of course), but IIRC, that would make 2 wildernesses she has.

    Let's talk research.

Wakefield wasn't entirely wrong. There has been a lot of research supporting both the link between the measles virus strain contained in the MMR and GI issues similar to Crohn's disease. And there has been even more research supporting the link between this GI disorder and ASD.

Here are a few of the many research papers on these subjects:

Possible link between an immune response to the vaccinated form of the measles virus that leads to autistic-like symptoms:
    http://mercola.fileburst.com/PDF/Singh%20Elevated%20MV%20antibody%20titers%202003.pdf

Virus-induced autoimmunity may play a causal role in
autism. To examine the etiological link of viruses in this
brain disorder, we conducted a serological study of
measles virus, mumps virus, and rubella virus. Viral
antibodies were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in the serum of autistic children,
normal children, and siblings of autistic children. The
level of measles antibody, but not mumps or rubella
antibodies, was significantly higher in autistic children
as compared to normal children (p .003) or siblings
of autistic children (p < .0001). Furthermore, immunoblotting of measles vaccine virus showed that the
antibody was directed against a protein of approximately 74 kd molecular weight. The antibody to this
antigen was found in 83% of autistic children but not
in normal children or siblings of autistic children. Thus
autistic children have a hyper-immune response to
measles virus, which in the absence of a wild-type
measles infection might be a sign of an abnormal
immune reaction to the vaccine strain or virus reactivation.

Link between AAD and MMR antibodies:
    http://mercola.fileburst.com/PDF/Singh%20autoimmune%20autism.pdf
results: Autoimmunity was demonstrated by the presence of brain
autoantibodies, abnormal viral serology, brain and viral antibodies in
CSF, a positive correlation between brain autoantibodies and viral serology, elevated levels of proinflammatory cytokines and acute-phase
reactants, and a positive response to immunotherapy. Many autistic children harbored brain myelin basic protein autoantibodies and
elevated levels of antibodies to measles virus and measles-mumpsrubella (MMR) vaccine. Measles might be etiologically linked to autism
because measles and MMR antibodies (a viral marker) correlated positively to brain autoantibodies (an autoimmune marker)—salient features that characterize autoimmune pathology in autism. Autistic children also showed elevated levels of acute-phase reactants—a marker of
    systemic inflammation.

    Link between IDB and ASD:
    http://mercola.fileburst.com/PDF/Krigsman%20proof.pdf

More links between the GI tract and ASD:

    Maybe you remember Vioxx?
Yeah, like when multiple courts have thrown out lawsuits, or in the case of the Texas Supreme Court, ruled in favor of Merck?

(Kirk, I don't know if it applies, but we'll go ahead and tell Rhino he owes you another box of ammo)

Should we start a Merck body count?

We better exclude their unethical testing in third world nations, though. I don't think any of us can count that high.

One would almost think that Merck had a lot of money and power.

If you read my link, it laid out the methods that Merck used to inflate their numbers. Maybe the scientists are lying. Maybe Merck is lying. We'll probably never know for certain.

Agreed. We will never know for certain. What I do know for certain is that in a free market economy businesses are compelled to put out a good product that DON'T KILL THEIR CLIENT BASE, or make them sick to the point where the company is no longer used.

    Absolutely true.

Unfortunately, Merck does not operate in a free market economy. More than half of their MMR vaccines are purchased by the government.

More evidence of the historical ineffectiveness of the measles vaccine:

Measles (Rubeola) in Previously Immunized Children. PEDIATRICS Vol. 46 No. 3 September 1970, pp. 397-402.

Within a 3-month countywide epidemic of measles in Jacksonville, Florida, 28 cases occurring among a kindergarten enrollment of 145 were carefully studied since 25 of these children had been previously immunized with a live, attenuated measles virus vaccine and immune globulin.

Measles Outbreak among Vaccinated High School Students — Illinois, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) 1984 Report

This outbreak demonstrates that transmission of measles can occur within a school population with a documented immunization level of 100%. This level was validated during the outbreak investigation. Previous investigations of measles outbreaks among highly immunized populations have revealed risk factors such as improper storage or handling of vaccine, vaccine administered to children under 1 year of age, use of globulin with vaccine, and use of killed virus vaccine. However, these risk factors did not adequately explain the occurrence of this outbreak.

Explosive School-based Measles Outbreak, American Journal of Epidemiology, 1998

Total protection against measles might not be achievable, even among revaccinees, when children are confronted with intense exposure to measles virus.

    https://idsa.confex.com/idsa/2011/webprogram/Paper32981.html
Conclusion: While this still ongoing outbreak feeds largely on unvaccinated individuals, the high proportion of cases who received two doses raises concerns on vaccine effectiveness.

can you post literature supporting that statement? So far we only have one medical article discussed in this thread that talks about it, and it was proven to be an intentional fraud that financially benefitted trial attorneys and the lead scientist

If it's not the antigen, then what would it be???????

Who would be so arrogant to believe that the additives in mass-produced vaccines weren't responsible for a percentage of adverse effects?

Actually, it's true. Immunity is not a constant throughout the life of an adult. Whether or not it's enough to maintain resistance to full-disease development is completely individual dependent.

To the best of my knowledge, they are. Vaccines are only compulsory for daycare and school attendance.

They are not compulsory. The state just wants everybody to think they are.

    A) Of course people can be allergic to things in the meds, just like I can't take morphine, there are some people that are allergic to other things. This is not the fault of the drug companies.

    B) Who ever in their right mind would think that they make you immune to something for life? Why would you have to get boosters if that were the case?
