Lol... You can see kids tossing rocks at police and the police tossing them back at them.
Tear gas was just dispensed at the crowd.

    .
The sad thing is that we get to pay for it all. Feds will pour money into this town when it's all over, insurance will pay for the destruction and theft. Your taxes/deficit will go up and insurance companies will raise rates to cover their loss. Later, the system will go back to milking these people after a fresh infusion of your money.

My thought and prayers are with the officers & community. It's going to be a long night for them while the idiocy continues.

As Rahm Emanuel said, "You don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid" (or get arrested for).

    He's now Mayor of Chicago.

    Just destroyed a police cruiser

Edit: apparently an officer is now laid out on the ground unconscious.

My favorite part about the Obama era is all the racial healing.

    7 officers injured, one unresponsive

Baltimore police: "You're going to see tear gas. You're going to see pepper balls."

BPD reporting more stores being looted, and more police cruisers being damaged

    Once police arrive, rioters flee

Two worlds not even 50 miles apart.

This makes me angry (not the police - the rioters). I know it would only make matters worse, but it's a pity the BPD quote isn't "You're going to see buckshot. You're going to see hollowpoints" instead of teargas and pepper balls. :xmad:

To the Attorneys here, how can a dept from another state cross into a sovereign state and perform law enforcement duty's ?

The point, methinks, is a man died in protective custody and while the LEOBofR gives the officers involved 10 days to make a statement, the lack of information isn't due to the rioters, it is due to the powers that be.

I don't like riots. In fact, I don't like crowds of any kind. But I can see that there is cause and effect here.

Some are protesting what they believe to be a major injustice.
Some are using the protests as an excuse to steal. As a result, many develop a negative opinion of those who look most like the thieves.
This is another cause and effect.

Protesting is one thing. It's their right to do so, peacefully. It is their right to pursue legal action if it is warranted. It is NOT their right to take their "pound of flesh" from people and businesses that have absolutely nothing to do with what they are protesting.
