Hmmmm....that is a little much for a little bit of dope IMO. Those things are best done in a controlled facility.

I understood that they never did find any dope at all. I also recall that at least in Indiana it is required to have a medical professional perform cavity searches (at least that is what they said in training back when I worked for the DOC).

They still do. I believe some states call it "digital rape", unless apparently you are law enforcement, then they call it "line of duty". I hope the courts call it "felony", and the two troopers get the same treatment from their new fellow inmates.

Another thought. It may not be the best idea to tell police that you are going to or coming from a casino. That is just easy pickings for the forfeiture types and I as we have seen, police would have no problem setting up traps outside a revenue generator.

Texas roadside body cavity search case to go to grand jury

The case involving two Texas women who claim they were subjected to an illegal and humiliating 'roadside body cavity search' will be investigated by the Dallas County District Attorney’s office of public integrity and will go before a grand jury next month, The Dallas Morning News reported.

Looks like there will be some small measure of justice in this case. The offending trooper is going to be terminated from her position. Maybe she can get a job more suited to her skill set. Working in a chicken factory or a massage parlor. Hope the ladies that were violated get a good pay day, too.

Sad but true. Seriously, I hope the termination is just the start of justice for her. Anyone else would be be serving some serious prison time over this, why should she be any different?
