T-shirt, jeans, boots. Normal everyday wear for me. Of course the only range close enough to me to go to is Wilbur Wright, so I know I won't be under-dressed or over-dressed. Although there was one time when a Navy guy in full BDU's was there, laying on the table with his .223 bolt action on the 50 yard range, until the range officer came over and said, "Hey, GI Joe, get your a$$ of my table." Everyone there had a good laugh and that's one reason why you wouldn't catch me at a range in BDU's.

I try to wear something comfortable, but fairly tough that I don't need to worry about getting dirty. And I always wear a ballcap not only because of flying brass, but the top of my head sunburns easily due to thin/absent hair up there. Oh yeah, I usually try to wear some INgo item to identify myself, since none of you guys will teach me the secret handshake. :(

I shoot at the outdoor range an usually wear the "Tactical" pants, I can load up the pockets with targets, staple gun or tape an other stuff like mags also. If its warm enough I like waering a orange t-shirt...I want people to see me down range even if the flags are up an its clear to walk down range....I've seen a few idiots in my time an some of those have been at a range. I also wear the "Tactical" pants around the house an the store alot of times so its like everyday clothing like jeans to me.

At first, given the question, I thought we had just lost the family hour. I was kinda expecting, "Thong - light coat of Hoppe's". All things considered, we've come close a couple of times; good ones, too.

Whatever keeps that hot brass off works for me.

Though Stan gets mad if thats ALL I wear.......

Seriously I wear everyday clothes. If it's really hot shorts. But usually jeans. I tend to stay away from shirts with pockets....I have come home with spent casings in them before. :)

I wear my typical jeans, polo/t-shirt and hiking boots to the range, like any other day at work. I don't usually wear ball caps, but will on the line, especially when on uncovered benches.
First rifle training I did last year, I wore the woodland BDUs I formerly used only for hunting. This year I picked up a chest rig. I wouldn't take it to the range, but for the carbine class I thought it'd be handy. First go with that this weekend.....time will tell if I like it, or if it sucks. Guess I'm moving toward mall ninja tacticool for class this weekend with the BDUs and the rig. I'll probably refrain from wearing those to the range or grocery store.

What I wear depends heavily on my purpose for being at the range, or if it was a planned trip versus "I think I'll step out on the porch and shoot something".

I've chronicled many of my range trips right here on INGO, so I had to go back through them and look at my attire.

This trip I was T&Eing some new grab 'n go gear, so I dressed casually in a polo and khaki shorts (background). https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...nge_report_with_a_side_of_wind_pics_vids.html

This trip was to help a fellow INGOer, and it was chilly. Base layers and a warm fleece made the trip very comfortable. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...colt45er_esrice_and_lovemywoods_pics_vid.html

This trip was even colder, so I had to add in a scarf and fleece hat. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo..._cold_day_shooting_with_lovemywoods_pics.html

This trip required that I be at the top of my game, so I broke out the fingerless tactical gloves! https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...ke_recon_cs_6_with_pics_and_range_report.html :D

Another cool day. More jeans. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...new_class_iii_stuff_at_lovemywoods_range.html

I'm beginning to notice a tread. More jeans. More fleece. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...rainy_saturday_at_the_range_lots_of_pics.html

    And another polo shirt. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...ort_ar_15_22_conversions_cmmg_and_ceiner.html

Ok now I'm looking a bit more tactical. . . . . (how else was I gonna convince Cwood to put me on his company banner?!) https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...y_unexpected_trip_to_the_range_with_pics.html

    Going REALLY casual. . . . https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...beautiful_sunday_at_the_range_56k_beware.html

And then most recently, looking half tactical half casual-- I call it Tactsual. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...ter521_akaindy_and_lovemywoods_pics_vids.html

Anything comfy - no evening gowns or heels.

Actually, it's usually whatever I wore to work if I go in the evening. Saturday = sweats.
