spears are great for combat...but axes and crowbars are good for combat as well as many utilitarian uses

I have access to used saw blades. chop saw, circle saw, etc. also a plasma cutter. I have been cutting harpoons, spearheads, arrowheads and the like.once cut out, I grind an edge on it, then sharpen on a wet stone. you can lash them on a stick for an arrow, spear or just a nice pole for self defense. also like the harbor machete, and throwing hatchets.

I used to have a nice old recurve bow, about 45 pound pull. It had a one-pin site and it was a real pleasure to shoot. I don't have it anymore and I really should get another one and maybe a couple sets of arrows for it. That would be a great game-getter.

I ain't running out of ammo. Period. But in a hypothetical scenario.....I've got a badarse blowgun, machete, and might be able to make a trap or two. Nice compound bow, cross bow, and if all else fails.....There's always me. Semper Fi

I have a small T-ball sized aluminum bat I keep in my truck, several of the harbor freight machetes, and a couple different wrist rockets. I keep a wrist rocket in my ghb, need to remember to throw one of the machetes in the truck, too.

If you read the Anarchist Cookbook, you can learn to make napalm and many other "non-gun" goodies. Not that I've read or even own the book for that matter....

    Alright, next question...

What do you use for armor against slashing/striking weapons?

    Could be anywhere
Broadswords, two handed broadswords, battle axes, regular axes, spears, knives...lots of knives, a Walther air gun which can shoot a pellet at 1400fps and about a bazillion nails that will fit the chamber after my first thousand or so pellets are gone.

But these are questions for my children...you said when we run out of ammo...
