What you favorite carry ammo?

Title kinda says it all just curious what others prefer as they're EDC ammo I myself prefer Hornany Critical Defense. To me its good stuff and unlike other carry ammo I can actually find it almost everywhere when I need to

Have any issues with the Hornady in your Shield 45? I tried the Critical Defense in mine and had a lot of feeding issues. No problems with other manufacturers I tried and use.

Gold dots or Winchester silver tips. whatever calibers i happen to be carrying. Although I think about any modern carry ammo will get the job done

CD, there’s probably better nowadays but that is what I have most of cause I got a bunch when I bought it. And I don’t blow much of it up. Got Silver Tips for 44 spl. but I don’t carry it.

I’ve seen scattered reports of feeding issues with the Hornady Critical Defense. People claim it’s the rubber/polymer tip on the bullet getting caught on the feed ramp. I’ve shot them in several guns, and not had this issue, although it’s always in the back of my mind still lol :-/ You could try putting marker or something on the tip and manually cycling a few rounds to see if it leaves any marks anywhere to see if that is in fact what’s causing your issues.
