Concealed Carry Pistols 9mm and up for Tiny Hands

PF9 was my first recommendation, she can't reach the trigger. Kahr didn't come to mind, will recommend it next time I talk to them. Just looked up the dimensions on the PM9, that is sweet. Thanks for the quick responses.

Concealed Carry Pistols 9mm and up for Tiny Hands

Mike, the G26 came to mind also but Glock didn't come up in conversation and she has held 30+ guns in the past week. A 1911 officer with super thin grips came to mind, but with them being opposed to heavier units she will need to try one in person in a carry rig. Scott, the Taurus 709 Slim...

Concealed Carry Pistols 9mm and up for Tiny Hands

A friend's wife accepted a 2nd shift management position and is shopping for a carry pistol and the biggest problem is she cannot reach the trigger on 9mm and higher caliber pistols. Right now their top pick is the Bersa .380. I don't like .380, I have owned them, please don't try to convince...

Lafayette local, want suggestions on 45 acp handgun

Home defense only or concealed carry also? I agree with Joe, the RIA 1911 is a great pistol, but carrying 3 lbs can get old pretty quick. It can be done comfortably, but it takes a quality holster to properly distribute the weight. I carry a 1911 Government IWB daily. If the RIA 1911 is...

Best way to start shooting clay games...

I shoot trap with an 870 and have taken several friends, no problems. IMO the 870 is the most versatile and dependable for the money. After shooting for a while the O/U models the other guys have will get your attention. After someone lets you shoot their $1k+ O/U, it won't take long for you...

      What flashlights do you use?

After borrowing a co-worker's 200 lumen light a couple years ago, I bought this ML-660 the next day and gave my maglites away when it arrived. Whether it truly is 200 lumen or not, it has done me well for $15 and outperformed all other lights I've owned and friends own. A 2 pack of 18650...

Why are some gun owners afraid of permitless concealed carry?

Department Policy cannot be questioned! Beyond that, if he is in a new truck and has a nice pistol he has lots of money and we need it more than he does, he obviously doesn't know how to spend it right. Just be patriotic and go along with it, its for the greater good !!! :patriot:

      Good HandGun

I agree, the Ruger .22 pistols are great for learning and the Glock 19 is super versatile as a range gun and carry gun, and the ammo is more affordable than .40 or .45.

THE FIRST AMENDMENT MEETS THE CONFEDERATE FLAG AT PUBLIC SCHOOL

The Federalist Papers are what clarified the founding documents and provide the context for me. I think it was Madison that said that if the people of a state disagree with a Federal ruling, that they were to continue to appeal that ruling via the state, until either the state could agree with...

THE FIRST AMENDMENT MEETS THE CONFEDERATE FLAG AT PUBLIC SCHOOL

Yes, which since 1861 has been a tyrannical central government runaway from its founding documents. Exactly. The "U.S. Civil War" was not a civil war in the dictionary definition, being "a war between political factions or regions within the same country". The Southern States were not...

Starting my 5th brick of ammo with the 22/45...

Awesome. Thank you. That's what I was hoping to hear. I buy the Remington 550 bricks from Wally world also for my bolt rifle, but they didn't work so well in a friend's 10/22, so I was concerned about how well it would work in a pistol. Thank you.

Which brand ammo are you using? I'm curious how well the Ruger pistols eat the bottom grade bulk .22 ammo. I was looking at the 1911-22 pistols, but I got to shoot someone else's Ruger Mk2 at the range and did great.
