      I run a holosun on my AR "firearm", I've been happy with it and it's always held zero. Not sure if it matters but it's the circle-dot solar/battery model, can't remember the model number at the moment. As for the OAL, it's changed from end of the buffer tube to end of extended brace and back...

      Armorer’s wrench for Aero BAR barrel Nut

      Tapco Armorer's Tool fits it. I've used Aero handguards with the BAR nut on the last 3 AR's I've put together and that's what I used.

      AR vice blocks

      Used the wood blocks, sideways in vise for multiple barrel installs and it always worked. Finally picked this up to use with the last one I did. Same concept as the wood but is a little more secure since the lower pins into the block.
