Yesterday I watched "A Sweet Sickness: The Flathead Movie" on Prime. I think it was from 2011, and it's a bit dry, but as the title states, it's a sickness. There's just nothing like the sound of a Flathead Ford!
@IndyBrownsFan
Thanks, I greatly appreciate the info. I was looking at Reggie's since it's the closest for me driving down from the northern part of the state.
@Hop,
I'm not sure how susceptible the entire E46 lineup is to rear subframe stress fractures, but the M3 most certainly is due to...
I heard on the radio this morning that Roger Goodell claims the reason for lower ratings & reduced viewers this year is because the younger generation just doesn't watch tv. Seriously. And yet they just gave this genius an extended contract & a personal jet. Bravo!
Slightly off topic, but certainly related...
I'm new to the world of BMW, but reading thru a lot of these pages, it appears there are a few well versed in that arena. My specific question is regards to a private shop in Noblesville. Does anyone have a good reason as to why I should avoid...
Last night Fort Wayne news was reporting that it was down to three cities; Chicago, Indy, & Columbus, OH.
Personally, I think Chicago is out. Tons of businesses are fleeing Chicago due to taxes & high operating costs. Likewise, they even tax the airspace over O'Hare airport now. That tells...
After 22 years of grilling on the same Charbroil Meijer special & smoking with a heavily modified El Cheapo Brinkman, I too splurged this year to upgrade to one single outdoor kitchen appliance.
I opted for the Traeger Pro22. Thus far, I have never found myself in a situation where I needed...
Understood. I'm originally from Kokomo, so I've seen first-hand the undying love of UAW products from many Hoosiers. The previous fourteen pages explicitly show support for the big three.
I'm just surprised at the lack of support displayed for the "other" product built in Indiana is all.
I'm surprised there's no more love for Toyota on here than just a couple of people. After all, they are built here in Indiana, or at least they used to be. Mine is an '01 daily driver w/276+k and minimal maintenance issues. I've gone about 130k per timing belt, which is a necessary repair to...

The Avett Brothers. There's just something about their simplistic style that appeals to me. These guys are actually cousins with a girl I graduated high school with many moons ago and she turned me on to them, knowing that I like a bluegrass/folk...
Sitting here in Warsaw, US 30 was an absolute mess this morning. We pulled all of our trucks off the road that were scheduled to head north or west. Seems like east of Columbia City was just wet, but I heard the Angola area had multiple cars overturned in the median around 9am.
I'm headed to...
Buy a Gen 1 Tundra Crew Cab, end of build is 2006. That should run you about $10-15k & last a lifetime w/basic maintenance. That leaves you w/ $25-30k to accessorize, presuming you're doing the Dave Ramsey thing & paying w/cash.
Getting back on topic, I don't believe there is an easy or clear cut answer. I don't recall any arrests or prosecutions for those that trashed public property during the 'Occupy' encampments. Furthermore, Eric Holder participated in an armed take over of an ROTC building (I believe at...
Yes, I'm well aware. Currently it's King Abdullah, but his father, King Hussein died in '99 after receiving a lot of medical attention here in the States, if memory serves. Ironically, the real King is willing to call radical Islam for what it is, but I digress. That's for a different thread.
Slip away? Breaking the law? ISIS?
Yeah, I wholeheartedly disagree with your entire sentiment.
As for the Kenyan reference, I'll agree with you there. I much prefer the term 'King Hussein'. It more accurately represents the level of respect that he demands, wouldn't you agree?
