I currently have 3 22's which I use on a regular basis: 1) Colt Woodsman - fine gun very accurate. 2) Beretta Model 76 - no longer made but was replaced by the Model 87. It's a target gun and well balanced. 3) Walther P22. Just got this one a couple of weeks ago. I've put about 150 rounds...
I currently have a Baretta Model 87 and a Colt Woodsman. Both are fine pistols and I have no complaints with either one. I've had the Colt since the mid 60's and the Baretta since the mid 70's. They are reliable, accurate, fun to shoot, and (in my opinion) inexpensive. I don't know what they...
I can confirm the LCP does kick like a mule. I traded mine for a PK380 and have not looked back. The LCP was just not fun to shoot and the PK is. It's just my opinion, but I think the PK is a much higher quality gun and has the safety features I like. It has much less kick and tends to stay on...
Re: size comparison. The PK is about 25 larger and I doubt it would fit in a vest pocket. I think the LCP would but I'm not sure. Of course, the reason I traded was to get a larger gun. I had no complaints to speak of with the LCP, it just didn't serve my purpose. Pete
Shooter521,
Thanks again for your help. As you can see, I was successful in posting the message. I think I figured out what I did wrong the first time. The older I get, the more this happens (just turned 65). Pete
I paid $70.00 plus the LCP and 3 mags. The First Edition comes with 2 mags
plus a holster. I modified my XDm holster so the PK380 would fit. I works quite well and I prefer a paddle holster.
As for the 9mm comparison, I have a Springfield Armory XDm, 9mm which I really like. It's just a...
Last week I traded my Ruger LCP for a Walther PK380. The main consideration was the size (it does matter). The LCP was just too small for my ham-like hands and I was never comfortable shooting it. On several occassions, the Magazine release was inadvertantly pushed causing a FTF. And the one...
Shooter521, I would like to post a range report for my new Walther PK380. However, I do not have 50 posts and therefore cannot post in the "handguns" section. Any suggestions? Thanks, Pete
I responded to the poll that I do not carry one in the chamber. However, after reading all the comments, I've decided to try 'locked and cocked'. When I carried a revolver, it never bothered me to have the hammer on a loaded chamber. Thanks for all the input.
Pete
If you buy online, I've had good luck with Optics Planet (opticsplanet.net). However, I prefer to buy locally if the price is close. I really don't mind paying a little more if it helps the local retailers. For me, that Liberty in Avon and Premier Arms in Brownsburg. Hope this helps you.

Last week I purchased a rear sight laser from LaserLyte (RL-XD) for my XD-M.
While trying to adjust it I managed to strip the screw for the elevation part of the sight. No fault of the product, just an inept worker. Anyway, I called the company today to see what I had to do to fix it. I...
I have a Ruger LCP and have not had any trouble with it. I have put 150 rounds through it and have not had the casing deformations you have experienced. I noticed one of the replies stated his did the same as yours and is considered normal. I'd let it go at that. As far as accuracy, the LCP is...
