My girlfriend and I are getting new sights after discovering some deficiencies today. She wants a new set completely on her 42 and I just want a ledge style rear sight.
Anyway they're on our carry guns(her glock, my 1911) so its not something I want to do and mess up nor do I want to buy a...
After buying my girlfriend a 42 I discovered a problem. If the Glock 26 is a baby glock, what is the 42? I cant think of any cute nickname that isnt morbid.
I am looking preferably for a Commander/4in 1911 IWB kydex holster (soft loops preferred) and mag carriers. Mag carriers dont necessarily have to be IWB. Live in Washington/Vincennes area.
Back up sights are common but there seems to be two common configurations. Red dots with cowitnessed irons or scopes with 40° offset sights. The offset sights are usually done because of rail space and because it's quicker and easier than removing glass. Here is my question though, would 45°...
Ok so let me preface this with saying that this is on my HD shotgun/tactical/zombie killer whatever. I use it a LOT and I shoot it similarly how "Magpul fanbois" do. I'm not here to debate the technique, it seems to work for me. If I say something absolutely ridiculous feel free to call me on it...
I am looking to buy a MP9C or MP40C. If I get more than 1 offers (optimistic I know) the priority will be to the 9mm. Honestly, I'm looking for a carry gun so I can give my little .380 to my prettier half. I live in Washington, IN. I honestly do not care about the condition of the firearm so...
I'm looking for a 18.5-20in Remington 870 smoothbore of some sort (or RemChoke) barrel with rifle sights. I have a similar barrel that is rifled with truglo sights that is in excellent condition that I'd be willing to trade. I will post pics upon request since my priority is to just buy another...
I've seen handstops mounted on shotguns forward (to help with push/pull) and rear (help pump the shotgun). I was just wanting opinions on what everyone here thought of each way and which *may* be better.
If it matters, assume its on a stereotypical HD (pump) gun.
So I just bought at 870 with a rifled barrel for a fair price. I figure I'll hunt with it, but primarily I want it for HD. I was wondering if there was disadvantage to having a rifled barrel. Are rifled slugs bad for a rifled barrel? Can I still use #4-00 buckshot without having to worry about...
So I've been looking in to a pump shotgun to go along with the house I'm renting (1st timer =o) and while I'm comfortable with the mossy 500 and 870's, I came across a couple good reviews on these escort guns.

I was hoping someone here would have more experience/knowledge...
They appear to be the same thing but the Gerber is a little cheaper. I'm getting a house and I figured it would be handy, and I was going to try to save some money by getting the Gerber but I wanted to make sure that there wasn't a reason it's cheaper...
I picked up a small metal flashlight from the check out at Wal Mart and I was wondering if there were any good ones (3-4in length). The one I have has several LEDs, button on the back, runs on 3 AAAs, and is mostly metal. However it was $3 so I'm assuming it either breaks easy or runs through...
Are wheel guns obsolete for EDC? I may be getting a gun for personal protection and I always grew up with revolvers and I didn't know if they were still "worth" it as a edc. My priority is concealment. I work at a really friendly business and I don't want some people who are uncomfortable around...
Is there an advantage of an AFG on carbine length rails/handguards (more specifically the MOE). I know there is a comfort thing for everyone and all that jazz, but I thought the AFG was intended for longer length handguards.
This may be a dumb question, but what is there to know about electronic ear protection? I've never shot with anyone with them but it seems to be the norm now.
Moreso, is there anything wrong with any "Wal-Mart" electronic ear pros($20-30)?
