It is not condoned, even...especially...by the initial perpetrator.
The subsequent virtue signaling is illuminating, though, and affirms my own decision to minimize contact with internet gun fora.
Facta, non verba.
See y'all...well, some of y'all...on the range.
I've known John in person since he invited myself, Melody Lauer, and Tiffany Johnson out to audit a new class curriculum he had set up in late 2015. During that visit he picked up Tiffany and myself from the airport and ferried us to and from the class both days (we had flown and were in a...
I was fortunate to get to take the beta test version of the class. Here's my review of that: https://booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com/2016/06/contextual-handgun-armed-parentguardian.html
I took an open enrollment version later that year outside Columbus, again at John and Melody's invitation...
I'd hardly call one magazine an "experience"; I do hope to get my hands on a test gun at some point.
I've fired several older 210s, but only coonfingered the 210-6. Based on the little bit I handled the newer gun versus the previous 210-6, I hope a lot of pride of ownership is attached to lack...
Thanks for the kind words, everybody! :)
Broadly speaking, Shooting Illustrated is more focused toward self-defense issues and the action shooting sports like USPSA and 3 Gun. It has more of a "Gun Culture 2.0" focus than American Rifleman.
Plopping his digits up there in that instance serves no function except to instill "muscle memory*" of bad habits.
*Yes, you in the back with your hand raised, I know muscles don't have memories; we'll discuss myelination at a later date. :D
*beep, boop* Your logic does not compute! *bzzzzt*

*BANG!* "Oh, crap, sorry! I thought it was unloaded! Does anybody have a TQ?" :):
Yeah, I don't think this is going to be anything like the Great Panic of '12-'13, but the timing is bad for even a small amount of rustled jimmies. Holiday season normally has a bunch of stuff depleted at the wholesaler level anyhow.
FWIW, two big nationwide distributors I checked with today were pretty much out of ARs: DerPMS, Bushhamster, Colt, whatev... They had the occasional LH Stag gun or 24" free-float HB varminter in stock, but regular ARs? Zero Qty all the way down the page.
Also? Bupkis for 9mm G-locks. I don't...
Can I rub your velcro cards in some dirt or snow or, hell, lint and cat fur? And then stick one of them on the side of the gun in a hurry at a fifteen degree angle and time your reloads to see if that affects it?
We've all used velcro cards. I have, you have, the guy that invented the Q-DC has...
Bring that up next time you're in and I'll talk to my boss about that. Not 100% sure, but I think the second shooter should have been half price as well and the software just didn't have the button to make that happen.
