If so, how much white gas are you going to be able to stockpile? I doubt much is gonna be available when SHTF.

I think you have assembled a good collection of equipment here. Put me down as a definite maybe. I agree that some Quik Clot would be nice. The stuff is really expensive though. Hopefully a bulk buy could significantly reduce the price.
Bathroom fans should never exhaust into the attic space because of the moisture in the fan exhause. Regardless of what else you do get those suckers vented either out the gables or the roof.
Well, I believe it is generally cheaper per sq ft. to put in a basement. You will need a foundation regardless which means digging and the basement definitely will be easier to keep at a given temperature as it is buffered by the earth that surrounds it. However, where I live, the ground is clay...
