BREAKING: Large fight, shots fired at Castleton Square Mall

Whats the point of these? Do they start large fights, video them, then put them on Youtube for street cred or to get hits on Youtube? I'm seeing links above that say 'arrests have been made' but no 'root cause' comments in the ones I looked at.

a potential benefit to the groups starting these fights is good people will hear about it, change their shopping habits by not going to an "unsafe" mall. Now they have the run of the place. Washington Sq. Lafayette Sq all went down hill thanks to many youth factors.

When I was younger I worked inside a mall store, and we had multiple large cans of bear mace for the dashing crowd.

If people started to pile in and run off, mace the **** out of them. They're orange and blind.... Kinda like watching blind hamsters running into the walls.

When I was that age I was busy working to pay for my own stuff.

Laff. Sq. started failing with the 1st bus line that landed there. After that we had 2 vehicles stolen from the lot in broad daylight and found stripped around 25th and Keystone.

Wouldn't it be nice..... except the law is on the poorly mannered 17 year old's side. You and I would go to jail for battery (touching in an angry or insolent manner) of a minor for dragging them by the ear to the door.

If I get conned into going to the mall it's because my family is gonna go there anyways so I feel I have to go to protect them. For real. Shopping malls are nothing but mass casualty targets waiting to happen. If I'm forced to be there I'm very well armed
concealed of coarse to not scare anyone or be kicked out by the Barney squad.

Self defense is legal no matter the age of the offender. The reasonable man test will carry the day if given a chance.

There were three MCSD (two sergeants) patroling the mall on foot while the GF and I were there around 18:00.

This was my case. We were doing some late Christmas gift shopping, walked around for an hour, and finally bought some stuff at Teavana then left.

Even before I carried , I tried to not go to the malls here. Just never anything there I couldn't find elsewhere. All respect.. But you can keep it up there please!! I'm not interested in being the news!
