The Henry has less recoil, since it's heavier. I have the Big Boy in .45LC, and I don't think you can beat the looks of it, with the brass receiver. That can be a downside for a deer rifle, though, since it might spook the deer if you don't cover it somehow.
I'm sure either would work well...
The Mosin Nagant has only seen about 20 rounds from me. Haven't fired the Benelli SuperNova much either, since it a home defense gun. A couple others I haven't shot much, mainly because I haven't had them very long.
The NFL sells the rights to air its games to NBC.
NBC hires Costas to work these games.
You can't really hold the NFL to what Costas says. He doesn't work for them. He's not their spokesman.

Well, that's the thing... it's not threaded yet.
I've seen brakes that say "for .308" and such, but it's hard to nail down exactly what will work on it. What type is the one you have?
Or is this the kind of thing I should see a gunsmith about?
Anyone know of a good muzzle brake for the Mossberg 100ATR in .308?
I'd like to dial back the recoil a bit... that thing kicks like a mule.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Since my job forbids my carrying (even in my car [I know, but it's a university]), unless I go home first, I often am not carrying when running errands. But if I'm taking out the missus (meaning date night, not the other "taking out"!) or going out, I usually do.
