Just curious here ............ What" type of threads " or "class of threads" are firearm specific . ? Also what " kind of threads are needed for a suppressor"? So.......1/2 -28 threads on a suppressor are different than 1/2-28 threads a machinist would cut :n00b::dunno:???- samot

ATF has not determined what a / the responsible person is/will be . And I am not 100% sure , but I dont think the prints and other required info would be for every form 4...... More for setting the trust up initially is the way they explained it.- samot

The CLEO removal And the changes in the trusts have nothing to do with each other . Even without the CLEO removal ATF had been working on the "trust loophole" ........ Everyone just correlates the two because they were written on the same piece of paper .- samot

It is not fingerprints for everyone in the trust ! Its fingerprints for a "responsible person" on the trust . Which is still yet to be determined.......... There were/ are many cases of trusts being made by one person , only to provide NFA items to a restricted person on the trust . That is...- samot

Petition to remove suppressors from NFA
You created this petition yourself ??? I can tell you the BATFE is looking into putting suppressors on 4473s But NOT removing them front the NFA registery..... Still pay the tax as well . This probably won't happen over night . This was part of the meeting with BATFE & NFATCA at the last SAR show .- samot

New ATF employees, shorter NFA wait times?
I was at the NFATCA meeting with ATF at SAR . Yes 9 new examiners were hired . The first 5 or 6 can't remember , are projected to be trained & working by April . And yes the assistants were contracted for another year .- samot

You could allways attend Jeff Walters next "build weekend" You bring the parts , he gets u as far as possible into the build , time permitting of course .....
