He has fired my 23, 27, and 19 repeatedly. He just doesnt like them. But not for lack of exposure. He loves my Kimber though.

He does like 1911s, but Im afraid he doesnt want to spend what a quality 1911 goes for.

Just keep interacting with quality posts like this, and you'll be there in no time. :welcome: In case you havent noticed yet, mods (and vets/addicts like me) notice a runner very quickly and any fluff posts with no merit will be summarily deleted. Good luck getting what you want from the classifieds (or selling your stuff) Oh, and for $25 you can skip the posting and just become a site supporter. Its worth it.

    BTW, howdy neighbor!

Probably lives about 4 houses down....

Since he likes 1911's , he can find used Kimbers for decent prices in local shops , or check out a Sig 320 , those have a ton of options available, I am sure they can meet the demand of what he wants.

You mentioned he liked the Ruger P-89. Is he only looking at new guns, or would he consider a used one? I know there are several P89s floating around besides your father's.

I think he is wide open. especially since it is mostly a range toy.

This right here. Great guns, fit many hands well. Often great deals right here in the classifieds.

Yet another agreement on this one.
I don't have one, but I love the way they feel in the hand...way better feel than the Glock 19.

I sold my Shield and bought a p-07 for my CCW, haven't looked back. Shoots like a dream. I put the mag extensions on and you can't see a difference in concealment.

PPQ is an awesome gun! May be a little pricey for your friend, and a little tough to find. SD9 may be a good option if price is a big factor
