I don't take up too much space. I just need like a 2'x2' space next to the cookie table and I'm good.

Nick, you seem to know what you are doing when it comes to an AR build. Had a tech question. Are roll pin punches really necessary for the lower assembly, or will plain ol' pin punches suffice?

Nick can remove the post(s) if he wants, but keep in mind that you can always shoot him a PM and I know he'd be more than willing to help out. This would keep you from having to post an entirely new thread just for a person-to-person question. Or if wanted everyone's input, you could go ahead and post a new thread in the Long Guns section.

The only roll pins in the lower are the ones that secure the trigger guard and bolt catch. A roll punch is not *necessary* but it makes for a cleaner looking pin when you are finished.

I have some tools ordered that I hope will be here BEFORE the build, if they get here I will be sure to bring them.
I have a punch set, multi wrench, vice block on the way.............hey did someone mention CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES?

I'll bring my upper and lower action blocks, armorers wrenches, stock wrenches, hammers, punches, wrenches and screwdrivers. The ONLY thing I don't have is a torque wrench. I'm not going to be building anything of my own, so my tools are free to be passed around. I am in the process of marking them with my info now so they don't get misplaced.
