      357 max information

I am thinking about picking up a barrel for my encore and even though the "limited rifle calibers" is no more I am hoping to pick up some information On loads and velocities. The bullet most used and most effective. I'm also looking at comparing the 357 max to the new 350 legend that...

      358 Hoosier Brass Forming

What you all are talking about is a tad different but my 35 short is made from a cut off 358 die. Yes I squeeze and resize the bottom of the case, 1 time. Then because my whole set up is made from a 358 die and a 358 reamer the chamber is right for the round. I have NEVER had a problem with...

      358 rifles

The whole idea came when Brian (bfg) was getting 35 rem performance out of his 358 gremlin. I figured I could do at least as well. I guess really my short is .25 shorter than a 358. I developed the round figuring I could match 35 rem ballistics, but in the load development 2424 is do able...

      358 rifles

I tried to pm you on the 358 but my post count is to low If you are interested in the 358 bfg I would be willing to part with it. It's a howa action, a mcgowen barrel from bfg, in a bc stock. it would have to go from my ffl to yours, or I'd sell you just the barrel and dies and you can have...

      358 rifles

ok as far as I can make out my 35 short and the 358 hoosier are the same more or less (my dies are 358 win dies that I took to the grinder). My kin and myself have taken a number of deer with it and it has performed well. A donor gun can be anything almost. I have built 2 on savage short...

      35 Remington - 1.800"

broom jm, just be careful in making a pistol into a rifle, the frame is listed as a rifle or a pistol, legally you can't go from one to the other. BATF could get you

      KP1 445

Went to the range this am. It's only a 50 yd range but it's where I do most my shooting at. 4227 under a 240 xtp does 1/2-3/4 at 50 and that's counting the fliers at 2x setting on the scope. I think I've got a keeper

      KP1 445

it started off life as a 44 mag, but it was bought with the intent for a 445 sm for indiana backup (if I ever make it back up to hunt with my brother). I was always so the brass could be 1/4" long and I did mess with just using some 445 trimmed down to fit the chamber but I finally bit the...

Judge finds in favor of the IDNR in shooting pen trial

you also have cwd problem in cattle. For the record I never indicated it was sport, it's slaughter, just a little different than we normally slaughter hogs and cows

Judge finds in favor of the IDNR in shooting pen trial

don't see much difference in this and paying someone for a steer and shooting it. The pen raised deer are livestock not game. Not my style for sure but if someone wants to shoot something they can walk up and pet, what's the big deal
