Doesn't the golden boy cost around $400? The 10/22 around $200? You can get a lot of up grades to the 10/22 for $200 or buy a SIG 522 for the same $400 like I did.
To each his own.
Bersa 22. Same size as the 380. If the 380 fits in a pocket so does the 22. Then again buy the 380 that's cheaper. great pistols
Bersa Thunder .22 Satin Nickel Finish
My dad brought home the original after WW2. Very cool weapon except getting ammo for it. He sold it in the 60's before I could inherit it. The 22 version looks very cool except for the price. I just found the GSG 522 SD for $300 so a MP5 clone for $200 less was my choice. If you buy it give us a...
That would be your opinion. I bought the pps and think the trigger and mag release (ambi) are better on the pps . Different strokes for different folks. I would suggest handling both yourself to confirm.
Went to my local dick's who was sold out of the 10/22. In the same ad they had a GSG 522SD for $300 and they actually had one. American Tactical Imports
Since My first 10/22 liked mods it cost me more than that to make it tactical.
(25 round mags, new stock, trigger group, optics...) Bought...
The great thing for me on the Bersa 380 is its DA/SA trigger like my other pistols. Mine has been flawless and shoots great.
As far as 9mm try a Kahr cm9. the DA trigger is smooth and the size perfect for CC.
You might not want to carry your Bersa anymore.
I found a (used) never fired CM9 when shopping between the Nano and CM9. For $300 I took the Kahr and have not looked back. Perfect size, great trigger, slide lock back (Nano does not have) easy to take down...Does not feel as top heavy either.
You can find great deals on older used 380's. My favorites are the Astra Constable
and it's double stack brother the A-60.

F/S Astra Constable .380 $225.00 - Georgia Outdoor News Forum
How do you take a bath on a $150 gun? I was at my LGD when a guy traded in a used C 9. He was given $75 for it. $75 off on a gun trade in is not taking a bath even with quality guns IMO. The LGD sold it two days later at $120.
Where can I get a red slide release?
Was a very good listen.
Times have changed, NPR doing an episode on a gun manufacturer and being positive about it.
Nice phoenix comparison to Taurus and Walther.
